After the bearing is cooled, The oil is sucked back into the pores.
Powder metallurgy oil bearing (oil bearing) is a kind of porous alloy products with lubricating oil in the pores. When the shaft rotates, the friction between the shaft and the oil bearing increases the temperature of the oil bearing and the pumping effect. The lubricating oil seeps from the friction surface of the inner or outer diameter of the oil bearing when the shaft stops rotating. The lubricating oil flows back into the oil bearing. Therefore, the consumption of lubricating oil is very small, which can be used for long-term operation without supplying lubricating oil from the outside. It is very suitable for occasions where oil supply is difficult and lubricating oil pollution is avoided.
Oil bearing is widely used in motor industry, automobile and motorcycle industry, household appliance industry, digital products, office equipment, electric tools, textile machinery, packaging machinery and other mechanical equipment.
Generally speaking, powder metallurgy oil bearing is mainly made of raw material powder through pressing, sintering, shaping, oil immersion and other processes. Most of today's machines are highly automated. The daily output is relatively large, and most products can be formed at one time. Therefore, the larger the batch, the better the production. Moreover, if the molds used now are less, hundreds of thousands of molds may be made, and more than one million molds may be made. However, the mold cost is relatively high, so it is difficult to do if the batch is small, and the time to replace the mold is also long.
Generally speaking, powder metallurgy oil bearing can be formed at one time without cutting. The cost is lighter than machining, and the material waste is less, so the price is cheaper. It is also in line with the current national policy of promoting energy conservation, so it is considered to be a technology that will not fall behind.
The matrix of powder metallurgy oil-bearing has been filled with lubricating oil by vacuum impregnation, and the lubricating oil will seep out to the running surface due to temperature rise and pumping during operation, so it can be used without additional lubricating oil.
